Job Instructions
Job Instruction (JI) is a streamlined method of instruction that teaches us to train properly the first time. By utilizing the 3 main parts of training: PLAN, PREPARE
and IMPLEMENTATION, JI will help us prevent problems before they occur.
Job Relations
Job Relations (JR) builds positive employee relationships by teaching the 3 main parts of leading:
- UNDERSTANDING YOUR PEOPLE
- USING THE FOUNDATIONS FOR GOOD RELATIONS CONSISTENTLY
- PROPER PROBLEM SOLVING

Job Methods
Job Methods (JM) aims to produce greater quality products in less time by making greater use of people, machines, and materials currently available. Every detail of the job is examined to determine possible room for improvement. Our people have ideas JM helps us make them reality
Job Safety
In the Job Safety (JS) course, trainees will learn how to analyze safety hazards, spot hazards, standardize the job, improve communication, and get people to see the link between standardization and safety. Companies that have put JS training into practice have seen an 80% reduction of accidents.
Advanced Job Relations
Advanced Job Relations teaches Supervisors the skill of one-on-one coaching/mentoring. Adapted closely from the US Army counseling approach, each individual who attends will have built a skill in understand what is meant, not just what is said, in one on one conversations.
(Job Relations is a prerequisite)
TWI Problem Solving
TWI Problem Solving pulls the entirety of the TWI tool set together, to use JI, JR, JM and JS, to quickly navigate production issues to address the root cause. This course learners will practice the isolating the issue in order to use the 4 steps of problem solving to dig deep and come up with a plan.
